My Contributions

Unreal Prototyping

Unreal's rapid prototyping and level whiteboxing tools were designed to create and playtest all of the game's level's from scratch. After completing a whitebox, levels were expanded and developed using a combination of Quixel and original game assets. The end result was a game with quality level design and visuals.

Enemy Chase AI

Enemies throughout the game chase the player, with their AI being programmed using Unreal Engine's blueprint system. Enemies will wonder around, until they see a player within their vision cone. From there, they will chase the player until they either catch said player or lose site of them. Every enemy in the game also has animations associated with their AI states.

Puzzle Scripting

All the puzzles located throughout the game were programmed using the logic from Unreal Engine's blueprint system. While some of these puzzles are as simple as a lock and key, others require multiple simultaneous elements. These often require cutscenes would moving parts or scripts that control environmental hazards.
